Doesn't seem to be a whole lot of lap times for the 2K R out there. The new R has about 120 more HP and 20-30 more tq than the 2k. Yeah it has it on weight but not by much...50-60 lbs? The GT350 has it by .3 in lateral grip, a second in the quarter mile, IRS and MUCH better aero. In the hands of the same driver the GT350R, even tire for tire, should have no problem putting it away.

A Kenne Bell would help with those torque numbers.

True, but i think it would heat soak like crazy under the load duration seen on a road course.

          I hear you.....BUT considering a modded GT350 couldn't stay in front of our bone stock 2004 911....

I just need someone to toss me the keys to all of them and I'll throw my lap timer in each and spend the day finding out!

I'm sure that was more of a driver issue. You seem to know what you're doing behind the wheel.

Lethal has a whipple on theirs making 800 with 9 lbs on E. It's been on the car about 6 months holding fine. Hellion just built a twin kit too. Make 763/650 on 8.5 lbs on pump gas (which is a horrible idea for a 12:1 compression) If I won the lottery and had two I'd do the twin kit instead of a blower. I personally don't want anything yanking on this crank Lol.

Yeah, that's all driver. I know you're not crazy enough to think a 996 non-GT3/Turbo can run with a 350R given equal drivers.

There was a brand new white GT3 and GT4 out at the track too. GT3 had an amazing driver and he didn't leave me too bad. I passed the GT4 and he didn't hang well and he was supposed to be a good driver too.... don't know. One of the cars that surprised me a lot was a new modded M2. Had a great driver and was all over me but had to pit every few laps due to overheat. Car is getting cambered right now. I'll just leave it at that until I get C/C plates so I can set it myself at the track. Don't drive the car enough to really matte.r
