Spent the night hammering it at Prarie Hill last night. First two runs sucked as I was learning the cars sweet spot. First run was a spin fest but knew I had no chance anyway since my friends V6 turbo Stang makes 650rwhp and is setup for drag racing. Second run I bogged it down and spent the track chasing a new Camaro but after that it was a blast. Took down a cammed 2015 GT with all the bolt ons and radials followed by an identical Vette but he was on radials and had gears then put 10+ cars on a Lexus LS400 on giggle juice and put almost the same gap on a fully built Mach1 with 4.30 gears.
This old girl is really surprising me and is just one very solid and tight car. Was nice knocking down 32MPG on the way home too. lol
Not really sure how to embed FB videos here....

Had zero plans of a stereo but the Bose sucks ass and cant even play MP3s so its getting a light weight upgrade with an easy to remove sub and amp because I like to take it to the track and want to hit some road courses. Set a firm $1000 budget and with my connections I got one bad ass setup under budget.
Pioneer has this new killer limited run deck with auto EQ, time alignment, 13 band EQ, active 3-way networking, Android interface, Pandora, HD radio, sat radio and plays FLAC files all for $150!

The radio is the DEH-X8800BHS. Its a very limited run and I think I bought the 3rd to last one. Its just like the X7800 but WAY better DA converters and a batter preamp section.
As for times, Prarie Hill is arm drop and no timing lights right now. I ran a built 2014 5.0 that had all the bolt ons and long tubes and cams and put several cars on him. Also ran another C5 that was identical to mine except a hotter cam and drag radials and put a couple cars on him. The nitrous GS400 I put bus lengths on as well as the built Mach1 with 4.30 gears. Car feels like its mid 11's, maybe high11's.Good judgment comes from bad decisions and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

Didnt see one. Lots of Camaros and Mustangs but was overun in highschool kids with their trucks and a crap ton of Honduhs that did nothing but bounce off their rev limiters. I just dont get it. Not even in the staging lanes, just off to the side somewhere and reving the piss out of their cars. Even the ones in line to run just sat there reving the hell out of them. Made no sense.Good judgment comes from bad decisions and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

I will post pics and thoughts after its installed.
Engine was sent to LPE where they tore it down and inspected it and replaced the bearings and rings. Heads are LPE LS6 heads that were ported and polished and valve job, added larger titanium valves, LPE (not sure which one) cam, ported stock throttle body but I think its a choke down point so will probably put a 100ish mm one on it and tuned it in house. At the same time the trans was torn down and had new bearings and forks installed with the Z06 clutch.Good judgment comes from bad decisions and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

Their timing system always sucked and was usually all over the place when it came to accuracy

They were closed down for quite a while. Just re-opened a couple months back. Its really just to get the street racing down. But its free to race and watch and you usually can get a couple dozen runs in.Good judgment comes from bad decisions and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.
