So when setting up a new Tx system on a new plane I broke one big rule and forgot to remove the prop. Holy hell does this thing have some power! Ouchies!

Since I never use my spare bedroom as a guest room and just use it as an office and place to build my toys I decided to ditch the bed that I was always using as my work bench and went out at midnight to get a bunch of shelves and a work desk as well as a good power strip for the chargers and make it my office and RC play room. It aint much but I am really proud of it and now have tons of room to work on stuffs. Each vehicle and plane has its own dedicated parts bin which will make finding parts soooo much easier. Just need a solder station and some ammo boxes for the batteries while I am charging them and should be all good.

Nioce. You have some serious skills on your builds. That reminds me, I have a new clear body for my X-Max and wanted to do something cool with its paint. Not wild graphics or colors but just something different and nice that you would see on a real truck. You game?Good judgment comes from bad decisions and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

Pretty easy. Just paint it from the inside. The body acts as a super durable clear coat. lol
I am just going to get the paint code from my truck and paint it the same color, put the window and grill/lights stickers on it and maybe the Pro-Line and RPM stickers on it and make the lights work. Use it at the car meets to pull the cooler around.
Freaking truck is nuts. Hooked a rope to the office chair and pulled my buddy around the parking lot with it. lolGood judgment comes from bad decisions and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

Those plastic bodies are time consuming. Cutting, trimming, tape, making, patterns, etc.
That orange truck above is about as far as I go without calling it work, it has black trim, windows and a painted checkered flag. Anymore than that and I get irritated.

Nice having a little vacation time. Got to work on my toy. Its far from perfect but its the first time I EVER painted a body and put down graphics and am pretty pleased with how it turned out.

So hopefully this will eliminate my ESC going into thermal protection after 7-8 minutes of flogging it. I moved the motor wires off the top where they were blocking the ESCs internal fan and added another HR fan over it to force feed it. I know the HR fans are a bit pricey compared to a radio shack fan but they take some serious abuse! Cant wit for it to stop raining so I can really push her again and see if it helps.
The first fan knocked the motor from 190* down to 135* and i hope the other one will do the same for the ESC. Gets annoying how often it would go into thermal protection.

Got the new bad ass tires on today. Truck handles soooo much better with them. Just need better adapters as the washers suck and dont allow the nuts to bite hard enough. Had to chase one down nearly a half mile as it rolled off the truck. lol
