    That's where I have the luxury of creating my own wheelbase. The way it's looking, the ExCab, 118" WB is the route I will probably take.

        Looks good as is 130/8 and of course it looks good at 108/6 but I'd stay long.
        The 118/7 is a nice compromise. Nice project either way!

            I will keep that in mind but sub $600 S-10 trucks are all over DFW. I am looking for a complete truck because if you have seen my other builds, I make use of most of the donor vehicles.

                  Time for a little update. Life if tough when you have a real job and other projects.

                  I found a S10/Sonoma chassis that fit my plan. Small world,our very own Brooks had this for sale.

                  So I picked up this Sonoma yesterday. I'll start putting together parts to install one of my surplus 5.3L and 5spd transmissions and hopefully start the swap after Goodguys in a few weeks.
