  • Help Me Pick A Wheelbase For My International Harvester

I'm in a bind with my Binder, and I need your input. Let me know what you guys think.

Since my International is frameless, my plan is to go with an S10 chassis but I can not nail down a wheelbase and bed length.

Stock, I have a 130" WB with an 8 foot bed. My options without shortening or stretching an S10 fame are 108", 118" and 123".

    So here are my ideas:

Stick with the 130" WB and 8ft bed. Just the way it came.

Or start short. 108" WB with a 6ft bed. The axle centerline is centered on the bed. The rear fenders are longer on the back half so there is less bed side.

Same WB, 108" with a 6.5ft bed. This proportions the bed sheetmetal and IMO, works.

    Next we'll extend it to a 118" WB and a 6.5ft bed.

Or a 118" WB and a 7ft bed. This may work with as low as I plan on driving it.

And last, 123" WB and a 7ft bed.

Or 123" WB and the original 8ft bed.

I don't think you went far enough. Add 4 more feet to bed
