  • Florida cop lets K9 maul unarmed man for several minutes

Fucking JBT needs his head caved in.

An officer’s dashcam video uploaded to YouTube this week shows a disturbing scene unfold as a police officer stops a man on a bicycle. An unarmed, shirtless, shoeless man is mauled for several minutes by a police K-9. The reason for the stop, according to the uploader, was the cyclist was riding without a light on his bike. As the video begins, the man on the bike is riding away from the police officer, despite the officer telling him to stop. However, after a 15-20 second slow ride down the road, the man eventually stops. That’s when all hell breaks loose. As the man gets off the bike, he puts his hands up and faces the officer. As the officer yells at him to get on his knees, it becomes apparent that the man is in a state of mental duress. If what the uploader says is true, that this stop was for a bicycle light only, what happened next is nothing short of torturous criminal action. Just before siccing the dog on the man, he had apparently caused no harm to anyone and was simply riding his bicycle down the road. It was the officer’s choice to escalate to the graphic violence in the video below.

It looked like he didn't have control of the dog to me.

        Geez.

Try watching the whole video from the beginning. Not the heavily edited version the "uploader" posted that condenses the action to fit the innocent dude gets mauled by dog FTP narrative. A little more to the situation than a riding a bicycle without a light.

I lost count how many times the cop asked this guy to stop now or I'll send the dog. Of course, the guy did not comply to repeated orders to do so. Of course, he was DUI. Of course, he was belligerent. Also, putting your hands behind your back repeatedly and then flipping off the cop while saying "Fuck you" is probably not the most prudent thing to do during a police confrontation (2:12 mark). "Get on your knees" , "fuck you". Sounds smart, but what do I know. Guy obviously is another innocent victim of the police state Nothing he could have done at all in first 3 minutes after initial contact to prevent this outcome. Cry me a river.

I don't give a rats hairy ass how many times he was told to stop, or if he flipped the cop off, this was unacceptable. If a cop can't keep his cool due to some name calling, he shouldn't be in that fucking profession.

The guy stopped, he was complying, and 100% not a threat. No reason at all to become a chew toy.

What this boils down to is a cop not being respected, his ego couldn't take it and he straight up tortured this guy.

So contempt of cop = sic a dog on a guy? Why did he have to get down on his and then lay down on the ground. Cop got butt hurt because someone didn't jump high enough when he said to.

That was a little excessive. Cops an idiot telling him to lay still while dogs clamped down.

God damn, even I have a bad time feeling bad for that guy.

I mean, I don't at all, but it wasn't easy not to.

He was complying? Interesting way of interpreting the exact diametric opposite of compliance in the unedited version of the video that I posted.

I stopped counting how many times he was told "get on your knees, do it now" after around 10. Before the dog even came into the picture. The dog got released because the DUI dude would simply not comply. He had countless chances to avoid this outcome.

Some people seem to prefer death, being tased, being bitten by a police K9, etc. as demonstrated in these kind of videos. Making that choice in lieu of complying to get yourself through the moment and live to fight your battles in court. You will never win this battle on the street or on the side of a road. To each is own, I guess. Some people like to learn the hard way. And there will always be people out there to sympathize with your bad decisions, so I guess keep on keeping on. I'm not a sympathizer of idiots being idiots, especially during police confrontations.

What we need to motivate motherfuckers are Police Issue Cobras. Threaten to throw a box of fucking Police Snakes on about anybody and watch how quick they comply.

The guy was shitfaced, sometimes it's difficult to understand. He got off the bike and wasn't aggressive in the slightest.. I am far from a fuck the police type, but that was completely uncalled for.

Are you a cop, or one of those passive asshats that's willing to let the cops do whatever the fuck they want? No one in their right mind would call that justified.

DUI while riding a bike is a serious offense, just ask this dumbass.

One of my favorite threads was the one where this guy, who used to be a paramedic was telling Davbrucas (who runs a god damn ER) all about medicine.
