There are 4 poison snakes here in Texas. Three pit vipers and a coral snake. The pit vipers are easily identified by a spade like head, slits in the eyes, and two pits in the front of their face.

Rat snakes are similar, but not quite. Water snakes are the hardest and again, if I am not 100% sure, he meets mr mossberg.

I'd buy it, remove the snakes and flip that bitch that evening.

There are no poisonous snakes in Texas. There are however, 7 types of venomous snakes in the DFW area.

Poisonous and venomous are the same thing. Per Texas parks and wildlife, plus my own experiences, there are 4. Sure there are different sub species, but copperheads, rattlesnakes, cotton mouth's and coral snakes.

To be venomous, an animal must be able to inject a toxin. The common delivery systems are fangs and stingers. The toxin is typically stored internally usually in specialized glands. A great example of a venomous animal is a rattlesnake. All toxic snakes are venomous and not poisonous, well all of them except one and possibly more (because as with everything in nature there is an exception). The Asian tiger snake is both poisonous and venomous (see below).

Poison, on the other hand, is a toxic substance that is usually secreted from an organism’s external covering, be it skin or leaves. Poisons are not injected instead they have to come in contact with skin or be ingested to cause harm. Poison dart frogs and poison ivy are examples of poisonous organisms.

...“Poisonous—often confused with venomous—means a plant, animal, or substance capable of causing death or illness if taken into the body. Venomous means capable of injecting venom. A rattlesnake is not itself poisonous, because if you eat one it won’t poison you. A blowfish will kill you if you eat it, so it is poisonous, but not venomous.”

I'm not sure how I'd handle that situation. Acting like a bitch seems like the first step.

                    Pussies.

This one was wrapped around my chlorine bucket about chest high, just to the left of me when I walked in my shed. He was clearly in violation of our treaty. What was funny is that he rattled his tail on the wall of the shed like a rattle snake. I pitched his ass back into the lot behind my fence ,out of my yard.
