Thanks guys. Again, really surprised we bought a freaking Camaro, but GM did such a great job on them. It was almost as if GM finally stopped cutting so many corners and just grabbed the good stuff out of the GM parts bin and made a great car. Not saying there aren't a few corners cut (i.e. some of the plastics in the interior, but it's not offensive and you have to look for it. The touch points are all good, the tech is good, the switchgear feels good, etc. Most importantly, the car drives really nice with the mag ride and new Alpha platform. The 8-speed and LT1 engine are very strong and the car is rated at 28mpg on the highway and can get as high as 30+ I've seen at a steady state 70-75mph cruise as it's only turning 1,600-1,700 rpm at that speed and running in 4 cylinder mode.

When I see a picture like this, I wonder what would happen if we showed this to someone from 50 or 60 years ago. I bet they wouldn't believe we are driving cars that look like this on the inside...

Interiors weren't too different back in good old 1955.

That looks pretty advances for 1955, almost like it came from the future.

                    They might puke.

The new Camaros are finally not so hideous on the outside, but that interior makes me flinch like when something jumps out in a scary movie.

I like the new interior. Relatively i think the new mustang has a un updated interior they have only done minor updates to since 2004. I remember really falling for the 2011 gt when it came out with the 5.0, then I sat in one and the door panels were the exact same style and design as the 05 models. I suppose the best way to explain that is ford makes the mustang to have a mustang interior and it ends up putting off borderline people who like the idea of a muscle car but are iffy about it being a mustang

Technically, it came from our past.

I'm strange, I guess. I still dig the interior design on the 94-04 Mustangs. Clean, smooth, and symmetrical. Gives both front seats that cockpit feel. Put all the fancy colors and new gadgets in one, and I'd be fine with it.
