Like I said, if you are traveling fast enough forward the tail fin is angled in such a way to allow it to act as a control surface that can manipulate the yaw of the aircraft by adjusting the speed. You can do a run-on landing using this technique.

I'd be very interested to know which make/model of helicopter that is. None of the dozens of makes or models I've worked with had any kind of tailfin that was, in any way, considered a yaw control surface. Aerodynamic fairing? Sure. Flight control?
