CBS's website is saying she didn't have a stroke.

So I'm having a little laugh at all those who felt bad for her, when in fact she was probably struggling to find an excuse for her flub and this is about the only possible explanation. Nothing wrong with feeling bad for someone how mighta had a stroke, but the whole situation turns funny when it turns out she just fucked up.

Did you watch the video?? She clearly didn't "just fuck up". Several doctors have seen the video and indicated that it was likely a stroke or mini-stroke and that she should seek medical help immediately. For me at least, a doctor's opinion is more convincing than CBS's or even some on-scene EMS.

Its clearly a case of Jim Carrey up to his Bruce Almighty antics again!

Cuz I didn't see no pole there!

          Suck it.
This is what makes no sense, any dr. will tell you that taking a persons vital signs will not tell you shit if a person has had a stroke or not..

She should have had a CT scan at the ER at the very least, why fuck around with something that serious

That's far more than just fumbling words. You can tell by the expression on her face she was wondering what was going on. My father sounded just like that before he died. Doctors thought he was suffering from vascular dementia before it was found out he had Lewie Body dementia. There is definitely something going on there that needs to be found out.

Add to it the fact that she was probably on a strict diet, I'm going with a stroke. With the money she probably makes it would be absolutely stupid to just write it off and not get scanned.

I'm not convinced it was a stroke, a stroke usually affects one side of your face, and she did not look like one side of her face was inequal to the other.

We may never know the cause of the issue, it could be diet, lack of rest, taking too many Moster and 5-hour energy drinks to meet the demands of an "on the scene" reporter....

Those folks start out at about $40-60k and the veterans make anywhere from $70-120k.

I'm waiting for Mustangman2000 or Davbrucas to chime in.

                            STROKE COMMON SYMPTOMS

The first signs that someone has had a stroke are very
                            sudden. Symptoms include:

·numbness, weakness or paralysis on one side of the body
(signs of this may be a drooping arm, leg or lower eyelid,
                            or a dribbling mouth)
·slurred speech or difficulty finding words or understanding speech
·sudden blurred vision or loss of sight
                            ·confusion or unsteadiness
                            ·a severe headache.

Use the Face Arm Speech Test (FAST)
Three simple checks can help you recognise whether someone has had a stroke or may be experiencing a Transient Ischaemic Attack (TIA) <http://www.stroke.org.uk/information/what_is_a_stroke/transient.htm> lThese are:

Facial weakness: Can the person smile? Has their mouth or an eye drooped?
Arm weakness: Can the person raise both arms?
Speech problems: Can the person speak clearly and understand what you say?
