There's a spot on S. Lamar, across from Uchi (Austin 78704) that's a slight hill, a slow curve, and for years had water cascading across it from a pool/condo community. We (20 years ago, in our 20's & driving mustangs or camaros) would always roll in to the throttle, get a little sideways and then ease back out. It was expected. Nobody went up the curb, nobody wrecked out.

Fast forward to the last few years, that spot is no longer wet, but there's another place, similar conditions, up a hill, slight curve, and when it rains, there's ALWAYS a truck wrecked out. It's the northbound access to MoPac from Ben White/360. The grass is bare where everyone 'parks' when it's wet.
Ronald Reagan:"Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it."

Homer: "Bart...there's 2 things I know about women. Never give them nicknames like "jumbo" or "boxcar" and always keep receipts...it makes you look like a business man."
