what happened to your dads old one?

It was sold a couple of times, ended up in Vegas, must have say for some time ( wasn't registered between 2004 and 2013 ), rich Mexican out of Mexico City bought it and is making it a show car for the car show ring down there. When I heard he put 20k in the interior I knew I was out. I asked if they could just ask him how much he'd want for it our if he'd even just send me pictures they implied that he doesn't need money and probably wouldn't send pictures.

On a odd side note I got in touch with the guy we sold it to in 2000 and he's pretty cool, going to meet up with him next time I'm in Austin, he said he has regretted selling it since he did and has also been looking to get another one.

My dad ( who doesn't get excited about cars anymore ) is planning a trip here just to see the car. As stupid as it sounds that car was the first time he and I really bonded and I think he is in some way humbled that I wanted to pick another one up. I can't wait to scare the shit out of him in it, he hasn't been in anything remotely fast in a long time so this should be plenty to get him freaking out.
