You talking about the split on 20 where the "nuke silo's" have been rumored to be? Well that was always the stupid urban legend I grew up hearing anyways lol.

No missile silos there, but there is (or was, anyway) a very sophisticated (for the time) radar antenna installation used in the early warning tracking system. Similar to the old FLR-9 stuff I used to work on when I was with Lockheed, but not in the elephant cage style. It was built low to the ground over a very large footprint and took advantage of the natural terrain.
