Not sure about cheeses but guns are ridiculously hard to get in Australia. They had a mass shooting back in the 1990's and made a bunch of laws to keep them out of most people's hands. The company I work for has an Australian distributor and when those guys came here for some training one of the things they really wanted to do was go to a gun range to shoot some guns. They were ex military so very familiar with handling but since they can't prove a need to own a gun in Australia they can't own one. They were telling me you can't even buy pellet guns or wrist slingshots.
