Robert, what kind of shape is the car in other than the pans and what is he asking for it ?

How bad are the pans ?

$4500. 6 cylinder. Factory added A/C. The pans need complete replacement. To be honest, I was hoping to see a solid driver with expectations of minor pan rot. These weren't expectations set by him, FWIW, but after scoping Craigslist for a few months I felt like his asking price would have yielded something different. I had no idea that those cars are pulling that kind of scratch. The point of that is, once my hopes were deflated I really didn't pay any attention to it. Major floor rot is also an instant turn off for me.

Not so easy to find corvettes? Does he have any '63 coupes?

He actually had one of those when I was a kid and he was our next door neighbor. I'm not sure if it was the same one under a car cover in the shop, but I know it was a Corvette coupe of a similar body shape. We didn't venture in that direction.
