Basically it was the right thing to do career wise for both the wife and I. Cost of living is far less, got way more house for literally half of what we were was paying in VA. Lots of open space. Traffic bullshit is non-existent. My commute does not suck the soul out of my being as it did in VA. Kids like it, lots of outdoor **** to do. I have friends in the area. Wife has family all over the NW and Canada. I am originally from SoCal and lived in CO for awhile so we have the best of both words with desert and mountain terrain. We've been here for awhile and so far none of us have any complaints. Only thing we miss about VA are the friends and neighbors we left behind. The whole idea about moving has been several months in the making. This opportunity presented itself and we decided to go with it and see what happened.
