Good shoot, if the perp was black, bad shoot.
Looks like he shot twice to me, and the cop was crazy fluid with the whole thing, looked effortless.Interested in being a VIP member and donating to the site? Click here http://dfwmustangs.net/forums/payments.php

By the way.. What was up with the cop calling saying the suspect was refusing to get out, after he shot him? And not reporting the shooting over the radio until much later. That's total CYA, and criminal intent in my mind.. Maybe he was hoping teh guy would die and nobody would notice it was a bullet that did him in..

Problem I have is that police officers can't be judge and jury like that and if they are then I need to get in line and get my PO license so I can kill dumb fucks too.Originally posted by SilverbackLook all you want, she can't find anyone else who treats her as bad as I do, and I keep her self esteem so low, she wouldn't think twice about going anywhere else.

Bad shoot all the way around even if the guy did deserve it.
From the video, there didn't seem to be an imminent threat to the officer while the guy was climbing out of the car. Guess if the fat bastard would have been quick enough he could have been out the car and waiting for the guy to climb out then pull him to the ground.
And yes, that was all very matter of fact. Get out of the car, pull your gun, see a target, shoot, holster.
Then there is the radio call and the delay. Clearly shows the cop trying to cover his ass, so he knows what he did, and his consequences.
I worked ambulance 20+ yrs. Have seen the same episode play out multiple times. Drunks kill others, but survive and then need medical attention themselves, or walk away without a scratch. The disgust, rage, and outright homicidal thoughts one feels at that moment...you cant describe it or explain it to people that have never been in that situation.
However, that doesnt give anyone the single right of judge, jury, executioner. One could even go as far to say premeditation on the officer's part.
Fuck him. Hope he gets the death penalty.

Keep in mind the guy was allegedly drunk. I didn't read the article so maybe he was drunk. In any event, if I just fucked up and shot a guy by accident I would claim he was drunk too. Hell I would claim that he was Charles Manson.Originally posted by racrguyWhat's your beef with NPR, because their listeners are typically more informed than others?Originally posted by racrguyVoting is a constitutional right, overthrowing the government isn't.

Originally posted by Sgt Beavis View PostI have a hard time having any sympathy for the drunk driver that just got his wife killed. However, that cop needs to be behind bars. I hope he at least doesn't have a badge any longer. If he does, he's a danger to society..
