I do enjoy the science fiction stories we get when stuff like this happens.. His pistol "accidentally discharged".

That's a shame. He should have to live with the guilt of killing his wife driving drunk for the rest of his life.

Not once but twice. Ok maybe the cop AD's once because he doesn't train like most cops, but twice is murder. This guy needs to be charged and prosecuted.

It happens to be a well thought out and reasoned dissertation on drug use and a lyrical cost/benefit analysis of various kinds of drugs, drawing the conclusion that beer is the best of them all.

What a "Hero". If it was accidental discharge, the round would have gone in the ground. Simply, that fat fuck didn't want to give chase and handled up. Hope he is charged, convicted, and gets the baby fat fucked off of him.

The way I look at it, the officer just save the tax payers a lot of money.

Cop did not look too surprised that his weapon discharged. In the video it indicates once - but kind of looks like two times.

The guy did not have a chance to comply and then the rest of the story does not add up. However - since I don't trust the media to explain things thoroughly, I'm curious if there is more to this than we know. Seems cut and dry, but the media is good at doing stuff like that.

The cop didnt look like he gave a shit... shoot the guy and just walk up and look in. No panic, no worry, no concern for anything.

That was fucked off. Fully intentional by the cop with zero fucks given.

Not that I necessarily agree but.. Since the dude killed his wife while committing a felony, wouldn't he would be charged with murder? In that case, the argument could be made that taxpayers would foot the bill on the prosecution and incarceration of him, potentially for decades. Now that is out the window.

Of course the counter argument would be that if the shooting wasn't justified, then taxpayers would likely be footing the bill on any 'wrongful death' type lawsuit that might come from this.

Perhaps, or maybe manslaughter. Now Officer Hero is likely going to go through the process, and murder trials are hugely expensive. Regardless, he created more headaches.
