Gave $4k for it and put around $3k in it. He wasn't trying to hide anything, he told me that the oil pressure read low and the trans needed work. He also straight up told me that he was a dealer and didn't have it long. I figured the trans needed synchros and maybe reverse. Couldn't have known that it needed everything until it was opened.

As for the oil pressure, I've never seen a motor with 1PSI hot idle that didn't knock like a mother fucker, nor have a seen a motor go 200 miles with 10 PSI@2000RPM.

Pretty cool man. I can't remember the last time I saw a WS6 vert.

Me either. I think the total number of WS6 verts over all the LS1 years was like 5000 units. Not exactly a common car.

Oh yeah, I just found some more. The clutch felt a little odd and the trans could be notchy at times. The guy put a diaphragm in the master cylinder that was as tall as the freaking reservoir. Barely had any fluid in it AND the damned thing was sitting right on the bottom. Took it out and the trans shifts like butter.

Yeah, I sold the SN95 to a friend at my local autozone. He has really done a great job with it, it actually won 90's class at a car show. He lowered it, changed the wheels, changed the lights, fixed all the little issues on the interior, and did a lot of bolt on's.
