Yep Danny, in hindsight, if I knew I'd go ham with this thing, I would have started with a base model! LOL! I haven't really removed anything that made it special yet. I added Brembo's, but all of the Cali Special gear is still intact. 3850# with me in it....

Yes, it's an internally stock 6R80 with an electronic transbrake. It just tricks the tranny into acting like it has a transbrake vs. a true modified valvebody. I got it on Ebay from a company called RPM. I've actually since made a few 2-relay transbrakes that I've sold to friends online.

DID yout have to tune for this? JMS makes a plug and play option but haven't seen any reviews on it.

Yes, you have to tune for it. The main issue from my understanding is letting the computer know that it's OK to be at 3400 rpm and not moving. Essentially the same as for an aftermarket converter. Any tuner should be able to tune for it.

My son is 9, so it's just one of those that raise you up. Silly laws.... I've been looking at the Wolfe 6-point with removable doors. It runs the rear bars up high and through the rear deck so it'd be away from him. He's used to the harness bar since I have one in the car now. He likes to hold on to it like a roller coaster seat bar. LOL!
