Oh hush. You were like 15 back then. Mike still posts on LS1Tech when he thinks he has something to say. I had fun trolling the shit out of Cosby on cz28.com. Boy took himself far too seriously.

Having owned a 98 camaro v6 with a manual back in the day and the neighbor owning a automatic gt I can say my v6 was faster. The reviews weren't exactly glowing for either car in the 90s

What wasn't faster than a non-pi automatic gt? Horribly geared, and under powered. 98 v6 manual vs 98 non-pi manual and the mustang with the straight, and curvy courses.

That doesn't make any excuse for the anemic 4.6 of the 98-04, but lets not try to make ourselves feel better about a pos v6 fbody that someone was foolish enough to own.

i was inferring the idea that ford will laugh and keep laughing at camaros and mopars.

they sell mustangs in what ever package they put out. you want simple. here is a v6. you want simple but cool. ecoboost. bam. you want rumble. 5.0 coming up. you want baller cool fast. say hello to shelby.

gm and mopar seem to have to push and push to move the metal off lots. the z28 for example was an awesome car, but no one bought them at 72k. sure the v6s get sold. but not like mustangs.

I haven't graduated to owning a pile of shit pickup on cinder blocks in a weed covered lawn yet. Will let you know when that happens. That's when staying relevant gets real!

When I had my 98 z28, I beat every single mustang I ever raced in that car, this was 2002 or so.

wish i could say the same. i had a 99 z28 with a lid and exhaust that only went 13.0x on the stock 16's.

i have posted this before, but the husky cat in the red gt fox beat me every time i lined up with him in the early 2000's street racing days. i think he was in third before i even shifted to second. and there was a guy, neil i think was his name, with a black vert fox that killed me from a dig as well. those cars were not stock. i do not think a sn95 ever beat that car. ls1 power bro.
