Is that how it's supposed to be? Just barely clearing? I've been trying to get 4x4 clearance. Once I figure out how to fill it up part of the way then I'll be good.

An air bag is basically a variable rate air spring so the more air you put in the bag, the stiffer the "spring" and it will ride like shit. You want to put enough air in the bags to ride comfortably but still have enough clearance for tires to not rub and have enough ground clearance to not drag the whole bottom of the vehicle off.

The air bags are one of the better parts of that truck. I'd spend some time de-crapping it and selling off said crap. There's so much in that truck, you might end up with a decent bagged dually after you cover up the went-crazy-with-an-airbrush paint for close to free.

I want to pull the TV screens off of the rear fenders and dump the TV screens on the visors. I'd like a reasonable ride height but I could probably deal with it once I can figure out how to get the truck to rise and stay that way. I need to get new batteries because once you kill the truck it won't recrank without a jump.

I want to replace the tonneau cover with a hard cover and hook the tailgate latch back up so you can open it from the rear. I drug off the roll pan from the back coming down my drive so maybe put a decent back bumper on it and turn the dual exhaust out behind the wheels instead of right out the back though the spinning gatling guns look neat.

I already pulled the gatling guns off of the hood and the mortars off of the bed and tossed them in the bed.

I will give someone $100 to come out and show me how this system works. Is there a way to hit one ride height and leave it alone so I can drive without the air compressor running?

post a pic of the guages. a good test would be to air it up to say 70psi and leave it. it should be able to stay around that pressure for at least 12 hours and hopefully 24 hours. if it does then you shouldnt need to mess with it too much. air it up to a comfortable PSI/height and leave it alone.

When I shut off the engine I hear air released and within about 20 minutes, the truck is all the way down again. I hear the air under the hood somewhere but I don't know enough on what to look for or where.

Its hilarious you bought a bagged truck and you want to undo that. Lots of time and money went into the modifications to make that work including chopping out the bed of the truck making that part useless.

Id plastidip the truck, take off all the nonsense guns and what not. Then if you get sick of the truck, peel the plastidip and put the junk back on to sell it.
