Here's an unedited regular ole phone pic that I took of the Roadster Shop truck at Good Guys a year or two ago. It's a dark gray, but almost looks black at certain angles. Up close it has a super fine metallic flake...pictures just don't do that thing justice, it's pretty amazing inside/out and top to bottom.

Nice truck. It's good to see that you are doing away with the Tiffany look.

        I really like that truck.

I can't decide on trim. I ordered the new rear bedsides with all stake pockets and marker lights deleted. If I go white on bottom too I'll have to do the trim. I managed to find original doors (rust free ones seem to be the equivalent of gold these days) and they were originally trimmed so they aren't an issue either way. I'm filling the side markers on the front fenders too.

Man that charcoal looks good on that truck. That's very similar to the look I'll be going for. Pro touring equipment but with most of the heritage left in tack (still chrome bumpers, chrome mirror, stock grill, original style tailgate, and even leaving the roof stock and not smoothed).

Paint shop is taking one of the old bed sides and doing a couple of colors on it to get some ideas on what'll go with the white. Should have that this week. I'll post 'em up.

Thanks for the input Rreemo. We will keep in touch on this one for sure...

Now thats a much better shot, thats a clean ass truck, I'd like to see it up close too. Back in the mid 80's Chevrolet was using a dark charcoal like that, it had a real fine coarse metallic, it was used on their pick-ups only. I'll have to find the code, but it was real similar to that color on that one.

I have a 69 C10 sitting in my garage I need to work on. I don't have any pics here at work.
