I dont think it matters how many times that he shot him as the psychological effects of shooting your sidearm in a conflict are extreme.
What he should not have done in the first place is shot the person. That kid was far enough away with the police getting closer by their own choice. If they wanted to use non-lethal force they could have done so, and with a ton of time to spare. Then they didn't even provide aid to the poor kid while he lay dying on the ground. Piece of junk cop needs to burn for it.

What should be more disturbing his how the police union and the city fought their hardest to not release the video. These people are doing their best to lie to us and defend an obvious murderer who is in their ranks.Originally posted by racrguyWhat's your beef with NPR, because their listeners are typically more informed than others?Originally posted by racrguyVoting is a constitutional right, overthrowing the government isn't.

So, the first shot to the head was ok but since he let the rest of the mag go we should charge him with murder?
Obviously he doesn't have the tact to be in that position of authority but there is not way in hell he should be charged with a damn thing.
Lets not forget who caused that situation in the first place.

Originally posted by bcoop View PostSomeone breaks in to your house, and you fear for your safety. As a licensed CHL holder, you draw, and shoot the intruder. 16 times. Your wife has to stop you from loading another mag. You will be charged with murder, 100% of the time. If you shoot him once or twice, you can defend yourself in court with Castle Doctrine if it comes to that. You shoot him 16 times, any defense you have goes out the window.
Guy in Lancaster unloaded a AR15 on a guy in his house. The guys wasn't even breaking in either just a bad deal. No billed! Now if you were to re load after he was down and shot him even two more times they could get you.
No matter what the situation is anymore you always get a case filed on you for murder. Just depends on the grand jury on whether or not it goes to trial.
I watched the long video that they keep showing. Not sure on their tactics or whether anyone tried less lethal before they got there and that will make a big difference in the case. The 16 was a bit much for a guy with a knife. I will say that Tasers are mostly ineffective against bath salts and PCP.
I saw a guy shrug off two direct hits one time. Took six guys to get him into custody. Until you have fought one of these fuckers you can not really grasp what it does to them. It took eight of us to wrap one up one night that was already in a cell for 8 hours. 5am he went nuts and had kicked, punched, and elbowed through the 1 1/2 inch, steel reinforced safety glass. We hit him with pepper, taser and then ran in with shields. Handcuffed, and strapped to the gurney he fought four of us all they way to the hospital. The magic cocktail the hospital has was the only thing that took him down (maybe we need dart guns with this). The cell had blood from top to bottom and you could see his tendons moving though the holes in his elbows, hands, and feet. Some wild stuff. What's really bad is we all knew immediately when calls came out in certain areas of neighbor hoods who it was. We had three that we dealt with all the time. Must be a hell of a high.
Think of the outrage if this guy had ran down the street and started stabbing people. It wouldn't have taken much. Things can change in a hurry in just seconds. I say the officer has a fair chance at being acquitted. Now the police officer having like 20 something complaints for excessive force or whatever is absolutely not going to help him. I just can't imagine how you can still be employed after that may complaints.Whos your Daddy?
