i dont follow the gun laws and this is just gonna be one question, but were they breaking the law by having handguns in there, in the first place? is that an angle the police may try to use as a defense for using lethal force?

I dont think there will be any reprocussions. They made everyone who wanted out sign a waiver. I think the PD has their basis covered.

Unless there were 30.06 signs posted at all the proper places stating that Twin Peaks was a 51% establishment......anyone possessing a valid CHL can carry a concealed handgun on the premises as long as they aren't in violation of the law (under the influence of alcohol or any other controlled substance). I have serious doubts whether the vast majority of the motorcycle gang members have a valid CHL...which means they were in violation of the law and were committing a first degree felony by carrying a firearm into the bar.

Those idiots deserve it; it's fucking clothing they were fighting over.
