My newest foxbody- first vert

Picked up this triple black vert today about an hr away. Not perfect by any means but it's a 2 owner (same family) 82k mile car. I don't know much about the verts but triple black sold me with the 5spd. Top is in great shape... anyway to tell if it's original?

Back when I was buying fox bodies, that is exactly what I would hunt for! No tint on the windows, stock shifter.....just right!!

Fucking white wax in every single crevice! Needs a good detail. Under the fluorescent lights at work I found a few small dings I didn't notice at first. Maybe have some pdr done and spray the front bumper/hood. His attempt to fix the usual rock chips/scrapes are going to drive me nuts. Needs a striker bushing on drivers door... just piddly shit

Only mods are headers and mufflers. Looking to replace mufflers with flowmasters

That luggage rack is hideous... don't know how deep I am going to get into this but the more I type the more I want to put a cobra rear bumper, lx tails, and se spoiler

just out of curiosity with out asking too much how much profit margin do you usually see on these flips? we know whiteboy profits by ripping all the poerformance parts off them, but how bout you? enough to break even and get to drive a fun one for a minute, or are you making money?

I don't mind at all. I don't probably make as much as Jeremy and certainly don't have his skills. I don't buy anything that needs big repairs because of my job, side job, and family.

I made over 30% on the maroon car and over 70% on the royal blue. I am buying and selling more than foxes though. Made 2500 on my recent Silverado. This one I expect to make around 30% in the spring.

Really I am in it for the fun that comes with the pursuit of cars/trucka that I enjoy.I only buy low mileage and low owners. I Never buy from a flipper as they just don't care enough about the car to begin with. I would even be happy making just a few hundred after taxes/registration to be able to cruise some of my favorite cars. Typically I drive a car for about 6mo to a year and sell it for a profit. I haven't got burned yet but at some point it will happen. I am way far enough ahead over the last two yrs that it won't matter. I broke even this last week on a rebuilt title sonatas my wife put 10k miles on. I was eager to buy and paid more than I normally would have to put her in a good commuter.

My side job of painting houses is better money than being a fireman or flipper. I make at least $60hr doing it but Fucking hate it.

Ha that will stay in my garage forever. Whenever I stumble on a nice notch I am keeping it till the grave lol. People are just asking more than I want to spend. If this vert was a notch it would bring at least 12
