    The issue isn't that rap sucks, it's thay the radio only plays rap that sucks. There is plenty of new rap music that is really good that doesn't get air time

      I'm not saying he is the greatest thing since slice bread, but at least he has a message from this one song i have heard from him. Of course, it has some "the mans keeping us down" tones to it, but he is pretty much right about marketing and everyone being played by corporations.

                Tech n9ne has been awesome for a dozen years at least.. slim thugs chuurch is pretty good. Eminent lost it after he went mainstream.

                Even the rap on Sirius xm sucks.

                          a buddy of a buddy, Justin Blanks, from longview did all of the artwork for Yelawolfs newest album. You will hear him mention the shady pines or something like that a few times and thats a shout out to longview

                                It was okay at first. When Robert Van Winkle (known often by his stage name, Vanilla Ice) invented it, it was cool for a few years and then took a downturn.
