  • Woolworth Mansion in ruins

This kind of stuff really interests me. I like the look of old homes and its kind of sad seeing a home with so much history and potential looking like this. It even has a 2600sqft separate house/garage that connects through a tunnel. ONLY $295k!!

I bet it is $1 million in renovations, and that might be low balling it.

I wonder how many places we have like this here in the DFW area.

Hell, 2-3 times, at least, I bet. And that's not even getting into furnishing it correctly (you have to go period with a place that cool).

      Really sweet house.

quite a few in east dallas, due to stubborn owners who won't sell.

Yea, when I am driving through east Dallas my eyes wonder around a lot to look at the architecture of the houses. Its a really weird area.

If that were within driving distance to my work I would have a realtor on the phone right now! I guess its cheap because of location, location, location.

this house is in worst shape, and it sold for 168k at the tax auction last year. He turned around and put it up for sale for 250k as is. Its been up for sale for the past year.

It's in walking distance from Gloria's and Lockhart's in Bishop Arts. From the research we did, it had been vacant since early 2000. It's a cool house, had a maids 1/4's out back, but it was basically falling down.
