Caught a decent fish today

Caught a Mahi Mahi and also a nice Marlin. Fought him over an hour, finally got him in. Weighed 216, arms are jello. Pissed the guide didn't tell me about the belt until 45 mins in. Deck hand was so stoked he wanted his pic taken by it.

lol.....yea, I didn't think about that until just now. I chartered a boat to fish yesterday, Captain and his two hands. I had my S6 but didn't trust them to operate the camera on my phone so i told them to hold the fish, ill take the pic and videos.

Also saw this out there, looked like a US or British Navy vessel....

Man I'm hooked on saltwater fishing now. I made a mistake of taking freshwater real with me. Even though I rinsed it off immediately when going back to the hotel I opened it up last night to see white seized up and found this.


So now I'm buying this van staal reel. It's the shit let me tell you has full oil seals and O-rings. Fully submergible and waterproof keeps the oil in and the water out. One piece 6061 billet aluminum construction.
