I have some African money somewhere packed away. I think it is all coins though and I'm not sure what animals are on it.

My FIL collected currency since he was a kid. He had a stack of binders 4 feet tall full of them. When he passed away, he left me one of them. The rest went to his sons. He sat down and showed me his collection once. There is a lot of interesting and beautiful artwork among them. Some of them no bigger than Monopoly money, some of them square, some of them the size of a mail envelope.

No, but he did have a brother who traveled all over the world that added to his collection. He had some pretty old stuff that he bought from collectors pre-internet.
