You must like liking boots. Last time I looked it wasn't illegal to have gun in your car. Cop absolutely violated the drivers 4th amendment rights.

          1. I do like boots, the right pair can be quite comfortable.
          2. It's not illegal to have a concealed handgun in your car, if:
          a. You are legally allowed to possess one.
          b. It stays concealed.
          3. Due to failure to comply with a lawful command, the officer did not viloate his 4th amendment rights
          4. No, I will be herding you into one of the cars. Muaaahahahaha [/tinfoilhat]

Everyone knows that's bullshit reasoning and shouldn't be accepted... C'mon Scott, I expect better of you!

I didn't say I was justifying it, just stating that it is used frequently and if often accepted as concrete evidence. It doesn't make it right though.

Yeah, you're fucking retarded. Guy reaches under his seat to get his wallet, because that's where people keep their wallets...under the seat. He "violated" his rights? The guy being a dickhead is gonna make the cop suspicious. Hopefully the next time you're pulled over and start puffing your chest the cop makes it a point to do a cavity search on you. Deep and thorough.

They guy sits there and argues with him the whole time, then wonders why he had a gun pulled on him, and has to get out of the car. I kept expecting the guy to freak out and get shot. Stupid kills.

Also whats that thing that keeps saying "there is a message for you" in a british accent.

Cop tells you not to reach under your seat, dont... I mean how hard is that? Then when you want to sit and argue and keep making moves, you wonder why you have a gun pulled on you..?? Seriously?

I thought the cop did pretty good considering recent events and current social climate. He stayed on the professional side, stop was completed without anyone getting shot, and both went on their way. I was thinking the guy was lucky that the cop was as calm as he was. Could have easily gone the other way with a not so temperate officer. Guy gets pulled from the car and slammed to the ground and cuffed by multiple officers, then there is a completely different story.

How old are you? That would explain a lot.

Why,not listen to cop and let it all play out. Then you, come back at him later with a lawsuit, filing this and that and there.

Not an expert by any means, but I'm pretty sure many states have laws allowing an officer to search "within arm's reach" of the Driver's seat without a warrant.

So much hope. Even shed a quick tear as I read what looked to be an outstanding display of logic and reason, and then...

"Officer, my wallet is under the seat. I'm about to grab it.", The whole thing turns out a hundred times better.
