I have always liked those cars but never owned one. They are kind of pricey but look like a lot of fun.

      Any plans for it?
Ronald Reagan:"Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it."

Homer: "Bart...there's 2 things I know about women. Never give them nicknames like "jumbo" or "boxcar" and always keep receipts...it makes you look like a business man."

        Damn right!

I've had some fun in a buddy's hot rodded Subaru wagon doing donuts in the snow. I can't see myself owning one but I can certainly see the appeal.

Used ones are almost the price of new ones.

So I'm not going to lie, my very first impression of the car when I drove it was damn this thing is rattling! The 3rd brake light was hitting the back window, I fixed that and haven't noticed it as much or i've just gotten used to it.

The main thing on these is road noise. The 2012 that is really the only complaint and some of that carries over to the WRX.

We also have a 2012 Impreza Wagon since brand new, its her car. It is slow , but it also gets 33+ city / 38 mpg highway mpgs. The wagon makes it very versatile of a vehicle, we've used it for all our roadtrips.

Did the delivery and they did a great job of communicating and not losing my car.
Very nice people, would not hesitate to use them again.

Thanks! Coincidentally sold it to a board member off craigs.

This thing puts about 220 to the wheels stock, tune takes it to 270 AWHP.

I may chip it when the warranty runs out, other than that my son turns 11 in 5 months, so in 4 or 5 years its going to be his car is the plan.

Yes I looked for months at these across the US really like the Dark Gray Wagon WRXs but they are commanding so much in in the after market, that made me look new.

New they are 26-33k+ got this for 25, new was ~29.

I've never understood how Subaru has such a high resale value but that's good for those who own one.

I like the new wrx but too bad they didn't update that glass piston motor. Evo FTW!

It has to be those clowns in Colorado, those cars out number every other car out there by 5-1. All kinds too, some I have never even heard of or seen't with my own eyes.

I'm like you I like the look of the Evo much better...

They are about half of cars on the road here as well. The other half are Jeeps.

You are correct sir, alot of Jeeps up there too. I can see why though, but given the option I guess I would drive a 4x4 FoMoCo truck...

I actually like the EVOs more, but could not touch one that wasn't worked over for less than 25k.

I do like the digital boost gauge and 25 MPGs I am getting. I got the CVT tranny, tired of rowing gears during a commute after 15 years of having a standard.

Subaru had high hopes putting a 180MPH Speedo

I've always been under the impression that CVTs are trash and can't handle any power. That's why most OEMs have gotten away from them in favor of gazillion gear auto slush boxes.

CVT tranny is a major point of controversy with the die hard WRX fans.

Most hate it and don't care cause they would not be caught dead with an auto trans.

One guy on the NASIOC forums broke his at 300 AWHP, but there was controversy on how much it had to do with how the custom tune affected it.

This car to me is an economy car that is fun to drive, nothing more so I'm good with the HP limitations.

For the industry wide CVT use, I think it is still comes in quite a few new cars.
