Got the ECU/TCU paid for and ordered it with a 93 and 100 octane tune. Cant wait to see how she does on the dyno tomorrow! Place is an hour away and after the run it will give me 2 hours to get the car back and yank the TCU so FedEx can have it by 1 to get it to 034 Motorsports early enough to make sure I get it back before next weekend and the car show up in Dallas.

Baseline run done with only the exhaust. First couple runs the boost hit 11.4 psi bfore the computer adjusted itself to not exceed the stock 9 PSI limitation. Made 374 and 388 whp before it pulled the boost down and then made an honest 336/353 at the wheels.
TCU was just pulled and sent out and the ECU tuner is on the way. Should get another solid 100 hp at the wheels and 130ish more TQ.
Good judgment comes from bad decisions and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

So did I. The ECU tune is the very first mod everyone does to it. With the suspension, brakes, exhaust and TCU tune it made sense that it would have some sort of tune. After installing the boost gauge I was able to see its still stock. So I am correcting that.
Just makes no sense it would have all that other stuff and no tune. I see in the reciepts that in October it had an ECU repair and i wonder if the Audi dealer just re-tuned it back to stock specs.
Other thig is it had a partially torn APR sticker under the computers box lid, Just strange.Good judgment comes from bad decisions and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

The tune I ordered is 525/590 (crank) on pump and 600/650 on 100 octane. Looking at getting some VP 109 since many in Waco want to run it but nobody sells it. If I can make enough where I can use 5-10 gallons a barrel for free it would be worth it to me. I assume mixing 109 with 93 on a 50/50 mix will allowme to be right at 200 octane.Good judgment comes from bad decisions and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

When the government pays, the government controls.
