So me not being one to let some crap hold me back I decided to fix some non related issues and one related.
Turns out Audi somehow moved the passenger wire harness and pinched a tweeter wire under a hod down bracket. That now allows the McIntosh amp to work right. I then installed the new laser diffusers. The sensors are not the reason the lower panel is wavy, was already that way. Best width I could get and still get the grill in.
Also since its bracket is missing I figured I would move the outside air temp sensor to double as a way to see the air temp entering the intercooler.
And last but not least. My very special subwoofer. Believed to be the only one left alive. Fits perfect and sounds phenomenal even though it will need lots of break in time.

I will get them to send me a shaft. Dont know if I can squeeze a rear end out of them too but will try. Nice thing is in the little RS6 world one of the managers is on my forum and will be doing things tomorrow. The C5 group is doing their own thing for the dealer as they know me and can see this aint BS as they have seen all the previous pictures most here have not.
Tomorrow will tell the tale.Good judgment comes from bad decisions and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

Giggitty ?
Sorry to hear about them screwing up your car, I bet this happens regularly at their dealership and they take the cars back on trade in.

This sort of thing is why I avoid dealerships service at all costs. I am fearful for when I finally buy something newer that will have to get serviced at a dealer because it will be too complicated for me to do myself.
Good luck with them making right.1997 Miata - Weekend\Autox Car

Well I have not heard from AoA yet but did speak to Audi Central Houston where the car was taken care of before. They sent me 15 pages of service today and they have another 20 or so to send. They really know that car well! Its possible that shaft was already changed but wont know until I have the rest of the records. LOL
Anyway the tech that worked on the car has been with Audi for 20 years and knows my exact car inside and out. Did everything from the full exhaust to the big brakes to all its service so if there is one place I feel safe its there. They also happen to be Audis largest and Flagship store and the service writer also knows the car through and through. He said dont touch the car and that he will call AoA tomorrow to help out and that just 700 miles ago that car was perfect when it was at his shop. Another relief was finding out that it is just a dust shield on the differential flange and its not uncommon for them to be a tad non-perfect. I was worried the diff flange got bent from the driveshaft.
On the bright side my new badge showed up and its the exact combo I wanted.

I know hindsight is 20/20, but that would have been where I took it in the first place

But i thought it sat on a lot for a year or two.
And now you have to figure out how to get it to Houston??
you think maybe you should delete this thread and throw that bitch on craigslist before you could've bought a C7?
