These days you can get it as an e-book.

He was familiar with the car and let me know it had the Milltek cats installed last year as well as new O2s but the best part is at 65k it had the full timing service done with pump and all pulleys and tensioners plus had a power steering leak repair and replaced a worn out Bilstein shock. Was over $8000 on its last service. This saves me a ton of money and gives me great peace of mind to know there is proof of its history.
Wow! That's good to hear. Now you have someone you can trust to treat you right.

Speaking of a timing service kit. I have a 95 camry and it is leaking oil from what looks like the oil pump area. If I get this kit, do you think it will have everything I need to do a full service, including replacing the pump seals?

Is there anything else you would replace while you got it apart?

        • Looks good. I would replace the pulley bolts too but it looks complete.

          • So I call to check status on my car since its been a week.... again. They didnt know if the pump had arrived. Called me back an hour latter saying pump was installed.
Great! So I can come get it?
Tech is getting fuel and then going to test drive it and I will call you back.
Fuel? There was over 12 gallons of 93 in the tank.
Tech said fuel smelled old and wanted fresh fuel.
But it hasnt been at your dealer that long....... oh wait, you guys charge $7 a gallon, right? Fine. Then can I please have my car back?
Tech said fuel gauge is not working any more. Will have to be tomorrow.
Tell him remove the rear lower seat cushion, take of driver side inspection cover, loosen sending unit lock ring, rotate counter clockwise 1/8 turn so the arrow points forward, hold unit in place while attaching lock ring. Can I pretty please with sugar on top have my car back now?
            Tech will address issue tomorrow.

I keep picturing that scene in Ferris Beulers Day Off with those two garage guys joy riding in the Ferrari.

It DID have 12 gallons. They had to do a THOUROUGH test drive.

              • 400 clutch dumps while trying to get a sub-4.0 sixty takes fuel. Roughly 12 gallons.

                    • For a four door it is. Its easy to get a sub 4 second run out of it too that does not require 12 gallons of fuel.
Hold ESP button for full off, shift to "S" (stands for Super Duper Speed), hold brake, bring to 1000 RPM, nail throttle while releasing brake, ???, profit.
Its no Tesla or Charger Hellcat but it sure is a whole lot cheaper!

                      • Can't imagine how much fuel it burns at 200mph.

                              • They forgot to plug the sending unit in. Works now. But now the car vibrates bad when accelerating and can be felt at 10 MPH.

Said with the car in the air they can spin the rear tires and see the drive shaft moving. Tried adjusting carrier bearing position with no change. Awaiting leed tech to finish meeting and inspect car. Sounds like they damaged the carrier bearing when they removed everything.
That car didn't have the slightest hint of vibration before. Not at any speed or accelerator position.
