    damn man, that's awesome

not trying to svo you, but this reminds me of the early '04 Cummins I bought back in '07. This older guy special ordered it. It was a short bed 1 ton high output 6sp manual.

he put nozzles, head studs, compound turbos, a dual disk clutch, dynatrac hub conversion, a nice tuning module, and the top of the line lift at the time... billet control arms, progressive springs, reservoir shocks, etc. the PARTS invoice for the lift was $10k... all told it was over $20k in parts... never mind the labor

it had 65k miles on it and he had it priced below what that truck was even selling for bone stock. he DELIVERED it to me for $17k. I had it for 6 months and sold it for $25k and the dude who bought it couldn't bring me the money quick enough.

not trying to one up, just sharing in the joy of a sweet deal!

Well I knew what I was getting into and what maintenance costs would be as well as repair costs. I knew how much the timing belt service will cost me. Going to be $733 the first time and $233 every time after that. I have access to the tool for free and the first time is because I want to watch a pro do it. Someone that knows all the tricks, good friend of mine.
Front bumper is only $700 painted and I already located one so no big deal. No sense claiming it. Speaking of insurance, if I stayed with the company I am with my monthly premium would go from $54 a month to $863! LMAO! I went with Progressive and now the truck has fll coverage and the Audi is insured to the teeth and its only $118 a month.

The only thing that threw me for a loop is the brakes as Alcon brake pads are tripple the cost of Audis Brembo pads. But again I knew what I was getting into. The Bilstiens eliminate the common and frequent stock shock issue. I even have a spare trans for it already.

This is why I didnt go with the Benz. Benz would cost 4x the Audi in yearly service.

Passat is based off the A4 (B5) frame. But thats what I want, for the average person to just ignore that car because it does look like a Passat or A6. I then throw out the bait and get steak money.

it's fairly true. my regular a4 3.0 quattro cost about $2500/year to own, and that was just to get an inspection sticker. i love the look, they are just turds. But i convinced a homegirl who called to ask about buying an RS4 to go ahead and do it, and i put her on to John Dodson to be the cars personal mechanic.

Very nice. I really wanted one when I was looking at 4 doors with awd, but couldn't justify the expense that came with them, so I settled on a SHO. Is the RS6 replacing your CL600/65 dream?

My brother has always owned audis. He loves them, but they rape his ass on maintenance and repairs. I could never own a car I'm paranoid will break and bankrupt my ass. I'll stick with lexus.

                                Good looking car.

As much as I've always admired how handsome the Audi lineup is, I just could never justify paying for the repairs and maintenance on one. Which sucks, because they do have some dead-sexy cars.
