That's why this has a very very high end system in it.

I inquired on this RS6 about 3 months ago when they were not budging off 20K. Never put eyes to the car, but Joseph had told me its very clean.
Congrats, im glad to see something that well preserved go to a good home.
Yes sir, JD. They tried to stick at 20K but I got it for 16k, 17100 after tax and reg. Its not without issues. Has a half dozen dings but my PDR guy can handle those. Center console lid is broken and its missing a wheel cap so I just ordered both of those.

Yes sir. Only thing I didn't know was the 35k timing belt service interval. That's nuts. I have no record of the last one so I am bringing in my Audi tech end of month to do it. Gonna run me $732 for everything and to pay him.

I have a friend that will hook me up with a custom tuned ECM and TCU so it should be all good.

Just got done doing some research on its stereo and it freakin has over 10K in components! So the car only cost me $6k.
        True dat.

I didn't even know they made an RS6!

Sweet ride and since you know your way around a car mechanically, hopefully it won't be too expensive to enjoy.

I love Audis... have a number of friends who used to wrench on them and a buddy who wrote service on them in ABQ for years.

I averaged 21.7 MPG coming from Austin. Most of that was slowing down and accelerating hard while laughing like a little child. When those turbos are spooled it just feels so fast! I know its no speed demon and that a stock GT would put a hurting on it from a roll but its been so long..... just been driving my old 96 Cheby truck for 3 years now that I had forgotten what HP feels like.
I really scored. I put it up on my rack today and the only issue I saw was a little bit of grease slung out from the passenger front axle shaft due to a worn boot. No oil leaks, all ball joints are nice and tight, even tire wear and about 50% brake pad left.
Got a pleasant surprise too. Does not have the factory suspension. Has Bilstein Nurburgring coil-overs.

Holy crap! I just discovered the front brakes are not some strange option but a $4000 set of Alcons with a really advanced rotor and hat system. When the rotors are worn you just replace the ring. Plus they are guaranteed to never warp. Add in its chip, exhaust and stereo and this car has over 22k in mods!

Guess I had to jinx it. I cleaned out the garage and went to move the cars around so I could garage it, back it out of the driveway and then notice all three of my grills laying in the driveway. I stop and get out and see a mound of grass that pushed through the driveway and grabbed the bottom of the front bumper and cracked it in two. Not the whole bumper, just the lower part. I take a closer look and see it was an existing crack that was repaired using the last style Texas license plate and JB weld. As much as this car was loved I found it peculiar the previous owner didnt replace it. Reason is simple, all the A6 owners bought them all up for their cars. So....... yeah. Guess I need a good body guy.
