New daily beater

Got a new daily beater today. 2003 Audi RS6. Its alright, kinda slow.
Came with a very nice sound system I am still trying to figure out what it all is. Looks like Hertz mids and Alpine Type R sub with an Alpine DVD/NAV deck, some huge tweeters and what appears to be two 6 channel Macs.
Car itself has 79k on it and is really nice shape. Like any used car it has some issues I will work on but mechanically it seems strong. It does have an aftermaket exhaust and APR chip so its only making about 500-550HP but that will be changed soon enough, could always use more power.

Gonna get her up on the rack tomorrow to go over everything. Thats a must as THREE FUGGIN PEOPLE had blowouts right in front of me and plower over three blown radial tires. Man that pissed me off!

Car has a meticulous maintenance record and was a two owner car. Also I have an Audi specialist that I only pay $30 an hour for. Not worried. Their only real weak spots are timing belt (gonna try and check that tomorrow) and the transmissions when pushed past 650hp. I have a friend that will hook me up with a custom tuned ECM and TCU so it should be all good.

Just got done doing some research on its stereo and it freakin has over 10K in components! So the car only cost me $6k.

It is but it makes an excellent sleeper! Nobody pays attention to an Audi A6 and this thing looks like one with fender flares. LOL Even my buddy that gave me a ride there (for one very expensive steak dinner) has heard me talk about this car for years and was making frown faces as I was buying it. We got on the toll road to 35 and he pulled up next to me in his highly modded Mark VIII. I let him have the hit but he never got a fender out before I slung shot past him. Now hes making frowny faces for other reasons. LOL

I also love how huge this thing is inside. The paddle shifters work well enough. Not like current gen fast but as fast as a Dodge Hellcat. And the suede headliner and the 8 piston brakes just really make it a neat car for me. I know lots hate the look but I thought they were distinguished but also hooligans.

LOVE IT! I'm pretty jealous. Nothing like picking up a car that used to sticker for $80k for around $10k

I've been wanting one for a while, but have yet to own one. I miss my S6 on a daily basis.

Audi sound systems blow. Bose all highs no lows must be Bose..... Bang ulfsun sucks ass too.

I inquired on this RS6 about 3 months ago when they were not budging off 20K. Never put eyes to the car, but Joseph had told me its very clean.
Congrats, im glad to see something that well preserved go to a good home.

Man, that thing is sweet. I have a soft spot for Audis (some say it's a soft spot in my skull). I very nearly bought an S6 with the V-10, but it wasn't nearly clean enough for me to take the possibly huge financial risk on.
