  • Was all legit. Had CELs for the evap and oxygen sensors. Trans started to leak and shudder (which is what happens with the early TCs) and the sway bar was hitting the subframe so it looks all legit. It did leak oil (VCs are VERY common) and smoked and I am glad they did the turbo lines because that requires engine removal. They did talk her into doing the timing belt 6000 miles early but since she only had to pay $300 of it its not a big deal. She said the car never overheated but every few days said low coolant so I guess the rad was leaking.
So It has less than 10k miles on all this stuff. Tires have 1500 miles on them as do the shocks.

    • Which dealer did all the warranty work? Hopefully not the shit one you just got the car back from.

      • Audi Central Houston. Its the largest Audi dealer in the world and their flagship dealer. They have techs specific for R series cars. The tech that worked on mine has been with Audi for 20 years and is the only one the head service writer lets work on his own R series Audis.
He actually knows how to slip two exhaust pipes together. LOL

Was $1300 or $1400 for the TC. I will give an exact tomorrow when I get to work where all the invoices are. Total its just over $4000 dollars as the entire engine comes out with the trans. I saw R134a on there as well as fluids and filter so it all adds up. I think the labor was $2600ish.

This is why you are an ignorant son of a bitch. Stupid is you don't know, ignorant is you will never know. Since you are way too ignorant to figure this out even though you felt the need to constantly interject in the things you are now trying to be smart about let me break it down for you.
Yes, I have a specialist in the Audi/Porsche/VW arena I bring on for special times at $30 an hour.
The cars initial problem was a nation wide safety recall on all C5 4.2 V8 cars. Manufacturers do not let the cars owner do these safety recalls because they are a RECALL. It has to be done at an authorized dealer. Had they sent me the parts i would have done it without breaking my car.
Now that the car is damaged and I don't feel like paying to fix their mistake I am having AoA (Audi of America) get involved to have the offending (that means bad) dealer cover the cost of the repair. I am attempting to have the parts sent to me to so I can install it because I have a hammer and a crescent wrench. That is not the norm and will probably not happen. They will want a proper dealer to go over the car to make sure everything the first dealer did wrong has been addressed. Should this happen it will go to a dealer that has a great history of taking care of the car previously and has an RS6 expert on hand.

I would still prefer to perform the repair myself so that its done quickly but I may not be allowed that option.

I hope this was written in a way your troll ass can understand. Now please get the fuck out of my thread. Why do you try so hard to piss off every single person and get everyone to add you to the ignore list? If you are just looking for yet another member on this site to kick your ass, by all means stop by. At the very least I can just break all your fingers so you just leave people here the fuck alone.

Actually I have to apologize here. The stack of reciepts is so thick I have not studied them in detail to have all the numbers right. I see it was done in August of 2013, I thought it was done in December when there was another large repair. Parts and labor were quite a bit more too.

Not to be pedantic, but you have that swapped. Ignorant means you have not yet acquired knowledge, stupid means you lack the capacity to acquire knowledge.
