  • Big Red Camaro - NBC Sports Network

I caught an episode of the new documentary series on Big Red tonight...it's a good one if you haven't seen it yet. Check your guide or search for it on NBCSN. Monday's at 8pm and re-airs on Wednesday's at 2:30pm. It originally aired in July, but they are still replaying it.

For anyone unfamiliar, this car and it's team were undoubtedly the biggest influence on the whole pro-touring concept and movement....and not just big wheels and mini-tubs.

            Best quote on Big Red.

Two guys in a Ferrari Testarossa doing 185mph in the Silver State Challenge- "What was that? I dunno, but the tail lights look like a '69 Camaro"

Still remember reading that article back in 87...badass car way ahead of its time. currently have the series recording - watched the Mojave mile last week.

That car left a real impression on me.

I can see now that it left a pretty big impression on me as well. Reading about it as a teenager influenced my adult taste in cars.
