2015 Hellcat Charger (8-speed auto) vs. 2010 ZR1 - both bone stock

Just barely though! This was the best run. I powershifted most gears, did hit the limiter in 4th for a half second which you can hear.

That Charger Hellcat is a beast. On the same dyno, I made 555rwhp bone stock from my LS9 and he made 670rwhp BONE STOCK. That 707hp rated from the Hellcat is BS. It's making much more than that.

I don't see how you barely beat him, you were pulling from the get go and he has a slush box. It also looks like you guys shut it down around 150 (well at least he did), I doubt he would have been as close passing the 175 mph mark as we all know that fat bastard is not as aero efficient as the Vette.

It was a fun run with a buddy. The Hellcat's have taken down the C7 Z06 and C6 Z06 regularly, so it was good to see the ZR can hang with it. I was a little concerned honestly.

On some other runs, he was much closer, so you need to be in the right gear and have good shifts to pull out a W for sure.

I LOVE my buddy's Hellcat. That thing is a comfy, bada** beast. The full throttle upshifts are wicked fast, like a powershifting automatic. It makes a 'crack/bang' type sound too with each redline shift.

I've never been a big fan of Mopar stuff or Fiat or whatever it is now, but they are actually making a pretty nice product nowadays. I'm surprised with the initial quality of the interior, the gadgets, and the tightness/feel of the Charger Hellcat going down the road. They built a nice machine for sure IMHO.

I don't doubt for one minute that its not a bad ass ride, but you took care of business as you should have, no way a muscle car from the factory should be able to beat a true 2-door supercar stock to stock. It was only as close because of the highway runs where the HC's TQ band could be used, I doubt it would be anywhere near that close in a 1/4 mile run...

I JUST rode in a Daytona series with one of the girls at work to lunch and I noticed her air vents on the topside of the dash were missing. She explained that when her husband bought the car and drove it home, he punched it and the damn things just flew off which just made this comment so much better.
