They are beasts! Jordon's gf recently bought a 2013 CLS63. it's an amazing car. With cat deletes and a tune you are looking at 700+HP. Assuming the '12 is the same twin turbo 5.5 V8 as the 13+. Hers has launch control, rev-match downshifting in sport mode, huge brakes, etc.

yeah the 11+'s are all pretty much the same. Does her's have the performance package? (red calibers, suede inserts in the steering wheel, governor removed, and sport suspension)

Yeah you say "a tune", looking around they are $3500+ for "a tune". But yeah with a package from Alpha Performance, you get 3 inch downpipes, 3 inch catback, and a tune and it puts the car in the 700+hp/800+ft lbs

I finally drove it today. Very tight suspension and handles great. Needs about 100 more hp to the ground...it is quick but not fast like I like. I drove my son to the airport in Nola and it comfortably cruises at 100mph...felt like I was only going 75 though. I'm gonna get a few tickets in this thing. I can see it now.
The fucking mods for these cars are higher than giraffe pussy though. $12k for a supercharger system. I plan on removing the resonators and 2nd cats and eventually a "rape"...errr..."tune." Crack smokers want $2500 for a tune!

Yup...stupid. Oh well, I wont be modding the hell out of this thing anyway. Probably just air filters, tune, rear bushings and exhaust. It will probably trap 115+ in 1/4mi as it sits...but it's not made for straight line acceleration.

I'm sure if I look around, I might be able to scrounge up an old vortech to throw on there. We can just poke bigger holes in the installed injectors to increase fuel delivery. Should be good for the gittin' after that!(and way less than $12k)

Please don't go to anyone besides Wiestec or Renntech for the tune. You will most likely end up regretting it. Yes there is an MB tax on the goodies but these cars are very tempermental about not being stock. Those cars the the stiffest riding Mercedes I have ever driven. They are just plain harsh to me. None of the other Black Series cars are that rough.
