I got flamed on FB for saying it needed an ls swap

That's really cool. Gets points for being different. I can handle the roof scoop, and even the wing. The side scoops dicating half-doors looks like an unnecessary PITA to me though.

I think it needs an LS swap too...

and if the mutton chop scoops actually had similar curves/body lines to the original body's? I'd probably dig it for the pure artistry

but they missed the mark IMO

at least the mark I'd strive to

I love things about the car, and I hate things about the car. Awesome concept, overall. I'd be tempted to throw a VW TDI V6 swap at it, and crank the boost.

What's with the drag radials? I really like the concepts though.

I tend to agree. Even though functionality > fashion. It would have taken quite a bit of more work, but a functional side scoop could have been integrated into a fully working door following the bead/body line at the top and would have even increase the amount of scoop. Little engineering, sure, but could have been done.

Other than that. HELL YES! I'll take one in BLACK!

Floppy sidewalls don't corner. He could have bought some 555RII's and had a car that would turn well.

It looks like the radiator is in the back, so they are there for cooling. Could have radiused the corners and been much sexier.

Would be sick if it was an AWD 1500whp car. Then the DR's would make sense.

overall the car is cool... it's unique... it's home built... obviously by enthusiasts... obviously without an unlimited budget

I guess I should put down the haterade for a moment and acknowledge that it's overall way fucking cooler than it is uncool

Man, no. No they would not. If it were AWD, sticky tires that helped it corner would be way more fun.

Personally I'd put street tires on it so I could do AWD burnouts on the highway.
