If your devices have RS232 hook up there's always a Crestron control processor and touch panel to control it all. I agree for the most part, for many they work just fine for more simple systems. I was commenting more on the quality of the hardware. They seem to lack in that department, Ive seen countless ones dead out of the box or broken very easily.
