    Shark week!

We are going to test it for a week and be sure we like it there. If we do then mount up the soundbar and trim out the board..of course there was no rafter in the center of the fireplace....

Its probably the best remote I have ever bought, well I never bought any, but I always had to use two or three and now I only use this one. Like Craig mentioned I only use it to control the DTV DVR, Sony Blu-Ray and Harmon Kardon SSS and the TV.
    Same here..

I agree for the most part, for many they work just fine for more simple systems. I was commenting more on the quality of the hardware. They seem to lack in that department, Ive seen countless ones dead out of the box or broken very easily. One drop on a hardwood floor seems to render them useless.

Great story, guess my ups guy dances on them. The most recent harmony ultimate one was DOA right out of the box, no backlight for the buttons. It was the second one I bought at the same time predicting the first would shit the bed, which it did after a year, stopped charging.

If your devices have RS232 hook up there's always a Crestron control processor and touch panel to control it all. It's a much more expensive option that would require programming but it could do whatever you want it too.
