Wish there was some way to tell, when there may be some kind of price drop.

When will the day come, when such TV's can be had for $2500. I NEED to know

I have been researching and I do not think we sit close enough to benefit from the 4k resolution. So that makes it a lot cheaper! Going with the 70". We have ALWAYS been samsung people when it comes to TV's, but in the store the other day the Vizio looked really really good to us. Our samsung has always been so dim we felt like(lasted 8 years).

Anyone have good luck with Vizio?

The new Samsungs look dim to you? My dad just bought a 65" Samsung LED/SUHD and out of the box it lights the room like a stadium.

I haven't looked personally lately. However one of my best friends is management at a Best Buy store and he said they have a very low return/failure rate on the Vizio

I have a 65" Samsung, it's not dim at all, also have a 60" vizio the pictures not quite as good, but not bad. Speakers on both suck, I don't know why they even put speakers in Tvs now days. I hate samsungs smart hub interface, so if you plan on using it for Netflix and stuff, it is slow. I use the play station on the other tv so I don't even remember what it's like.

The samsung we have had has always been dim, new ones look great!

Never considered Vizio before the other day, was really impressed with the picture in the store.

I sit about 17' away from my 110" and I wish I could go bigger!

I got 60" tv's in all the bedrooms.

                      Got a 70", 3 50"s, and 2 47" I have no idea what to do with.

I don't have that exact fan, but I have a 70" in my living room.. Quite and puts out lots of air.

When i was setting up Dad's TV, the little remote and the smart hub stuff was kinda janky to me. The other thing that sucked is the 15 model samsung don't have the MLB app integrated, yet. Dad said the 14 models had it, but for some reason the newest models didn't come with it installed.
