You are a good man for giving her a happy, stable existence. Both my girls are rescue dogs from the fort worth and san antonio humane societies.

Nice job. I've got both my dogs from the pound, the first is an amazing, smart dog. The second we got as a 4 month old pup, and she is dumb as a box of rox and destroys everything if she's left alone.

On top of all that, they now try to kill each other when left alone. Two incidents, hundreds of stitches later and ~$1500 in vets bills and I'm at my wits end with this younger dog.

The family is begging me to take her to a no kill shelter, but I don't want to pass my problem on to someone else... Anyone have a suggestion? I sure could use one.

Have you taken her to dog training and I mean actual dog training. Not petsmart puppy classes? Where are you located?

Yeah, I can roger that. Mine is completely out of hand, but becoming a bit of a trademark.

Nah, gave her an extra treat this morning for breakfast and some extra scratches behind the ear.

Shes 48 lbs now of solid low to the ground muscle. Built like a wart hog!

Not as little as she was when we got her.

Took me a second to realize this is a bump, lol. Good looking dog, and again, thanks for rescuing a pup!

Our rescue pit mix just turned 2 a couple weeks ago.
