The dispatcher was an idiot. Several times he stated the facts and she just kept asking the same thing. And "What kind of guns?" WTF? They were fucking guns, what does it matter what kind? "Oh one had a Kimber Crimson Carry with upgraded tritium sights and the other had a Glock G17 with an extended clip." Dispatchers have a lot going on, especially if this wasn't a department that has call takers and 911 ops separate. She's likely dispatching the units and responding to acknowledgements (adding them to en route or on scene units) updating them over the radio with pertient info, typing data into their MDT, addind CAD data to the call, etc etc. It's a super hectic job, I can see how she needed him to repeat some things.
