The police did what they should have done but they looked like clowns in the process. Feral black teenagers should not be allowed to be in groups larger then 2 members at anytime. My granddad would only allow 1 black teen at a time into any of his stores because in general black teens can not control themselves. He did not catch any grief about that policy either AND his stores were not even touched during the Detroit Riots because the people in the neighborhood trusted him and respected him.

I don't see what he did wrong. The kids wanted to be disrespectful, not obey his orders and then got irate because he took one of them down for it. If they would be civil and obey orders, it wouldn't escalate like that. If my kids act that way, the police have my blessing to take their asses to jail.
