In that kind of situation, I would never throw the first blow with a helmet on if the guy across from me doesn't have one on. Now, if I'm attacked, and fighting in pure defense, that's different. But for that second biker to come up on the scene and basically sucker "punch" (obviously, head butt) the guy who was now outnumbered, and then bow up with his helmet still on, it's a bitch move.

It all depends. There are lots of different scenarios for a fight. If I fear for my life, I'd do whatever it takes, but there's no reason to escalate things if you don't have to and if the other person hasn't and won't. In fact, that shit can backfire in a hurry.

I've been to sanctioned fights too. I have not seen a fair street fight, there are to many variables. It's rare that you have two people, both wanting to fight, that are roughly the same size and skill level.

I don't look for fights and really don't enjoy getting hit and fights escalate quickly. If someone is trying to fight me, I'm going to figure out a way to stop that asap.
